Little Angels Daycare was started as a home daycare in Hampden in 1997 by Carol Duprey. Carol was looking to stay at home with her
newest daughter Angel, but couldn't afford to so she opened a daycare in her home. Carol named the daycare after Angel and took care
of 12 children in her home until 2000.
In 2000 the daycare was moved inside Bangor Baptist Church and continued to grow. In the November of 2002 the center opened up
a new location at 416 Stillwater Avenue in Bangor. "I knew it was a great location when I first looked at it. It is very convenient for
people who work at the mall." said Carol, "This is the reason I expanded our hours of operation and we are open until 11 at night, for
those employees who work non-traditional hours."

In May of 2003 Little Angels expanded across the Penobscot to 136 River Road in Orrington. "I wanted a location that was convenient for
parents who live in the Bucksport/Orrington/Brewer area. I am proud that we were able to bring high-quality center based care to a small
town like Orrington."
In September of 2004 Little Angels opened up a new location at 189 Perry Road in Bangor. For over a decade Building Blocks daycare
was located at this site, but when they closed their doors, Little Angels took over. "This is our largest center and will accommodate 93
children. I love the oversized classrooms and large play area. It is very convenient for parents who live or work in Bangor, Hampden
or Hermon".
In June of 2005 Little Angels was approached to take over operations of Small World Daycare at 300 Forest Avenue in Bangor. "I wanted to
have a center exclusively for preschool aged children so this is what this location has become. We also wanted to offer parents who cannot
afford center based care a chance to attend a center at home daycare prices."

In September of 2005 Little Angels expanded to the Pittsfield area and opened up at 18 Leighton Street, next to Sebasticook Valley Hospital. In
partnership with the hospital an abandoned nursing home was converted to a state of the art, high tech daycare and preschool facility. "I am
proud that we have the most advanced, state of the art daycare facility in Somerset County."
Little Angels is the largest daycare and preschool chain north of Portland. We pride ourselves in providing quality care at an affordable
price. Each and every employee is hand picked to ensure that your child is well cared for. Call for more information today and take the first step
